Pastor Kevin (“PK”) and his family have been on staff at Bethel Baptist Church since July 1, 2003 when he was originally hired as the Associate Pastor and Elder of Youth. In the year 2006 PK became the Lead Pastor at Bethel where he continues leadership over the youth ministry, in addition to the responsibilities of a solo pastorate. Lisa is an elementary school teacher at Christian Central Academy, and serves at Bethel in many capacities such as: worship team leader, VBS director, youth leader, and assisting PK in keeping things orderly at Bethel.
The Wright family members are not strangers to Bethel as PK has been a Bethel member since 1979 and Bethel is Lisa’s home church since her birth. It’s almost like a fairy-tale come true for the Wrights as PK and Lisa met at youth group and courted through their college years which led to their marriage in1988 at Bethel. They are the proud parents to Kevin Jr (2nd year college student) and Karissa who is finishing her senior year of high school. Hunter is their four year old golden retriever.
